PERFORMING ARTS HOME LEARNING S.Y. 2020

Happy Sunday everyone!

Good morning KG1 A!( Greeting you in singing manner in the tune of “Skip to my Lou”) Hope you reply in singing manner too.

I know all of you are doing a lots of job working from home! Keep up the effort- as I always say- KG1 YOU ARE AWESOME!!!

LESSON :  RHYTHMS

I.           LESSON  OBJECTIVES :
At the end of the lesson the students will be able to:

1.     Follow the RHYTHMS  using fruit name syllables. E.g. cherry, and beets.

2.   Tap and clap the activities presented on the video

3.   Sing the song “sweet beets”

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:

1.    Click the link provided on each activity, watch the video and follow along with it.
2.   You can do this lesson anytime during this week and repeat the video until you get the tempo of the given activity.
3.   You can ask your siblings to play the pretend instrument that you use.
4.   We can use spoons as drum sticks and find safe things to tap. Like wooden table , steel chair or your lap .

II. LESSON PROPER

It’s BRAIN SMART SONG time! It’s BRAIN SMART SONG time! So move your body while I move mine. Move your hands. Move your feet. Stand up, sit down and row the boat.

I feel that we are all energized by now and to get the excitement level down, let's BREATHE. Remember to breathe three times SLOWLY so that all the oxygen can go into your brains and they are ready to learn!

We are ready to learn now.

We will call our activity “CALL AND RESPONSE” which means one person will say something and you will repeat after him/her.
